I am currently a 2nd-year medical student at the Ohio State University College of Medicine -- my undergraduate work having been accomplished at the Johns Hopkins University. \
Although my major was Biology, I was interested in the inner working of computers, and ended up taking a bunch of EE & CS classes. My first computer class covered assembly language on the PDP-11. From there, I went on to classes in Pascal and C programming, Computational Modeling, Expert Systems, and Computer Graphics.\
The NeXT is an ideal tool for collecting and visualizing data -- lots of computing power, great graphics, easy programming make for and unbeatable combination. This program is my first attempt with IB & NeXTStep -- while it's not perfect, it shows the power of the NeXT programming environment. \
